Congratulations to Dr. Heath, Joan Fernandez Esmerats And Dr. Kumar on their recent miR-181b paper

We want to congratulate Dr. Jack Heath, Joan Fernandez Esmerats and Dr. Sandeep Kumar on their recent publication of the paper "Mechanosensitive microRNA-181b regulates aortic valve endothelial matrix degradation by targeting TIMP3" published in Cardiovascular Engineering and Technology. This is one of the first publications to link a miRNA in the aortic valve with the matrix degradation observed in Calcified Aortic Valves.
